Abstract

Chemokines are key regulators of the development of inflammatory pathologies including psoriasis. However, the overall regulation of chemokine function in the pathogenesis of psoriasis has not yet been elucidated. Here we show that the D6 chemokine-scavenging is differentially expressed within psoriatic skin to impair the development of psoriatic lesions. Our data highlight D6 as a novel contributor to the pathogenesis of psoriasis and highlight it as a potential therapeutic target.
