Abstract

A general process for the selective nitro aryl reduction to aryl amine in water under standard conditions (ver ylow catalyst loasding, rt, no pressure) was developed, leading to much increased flexibility and a impactful alternative to the commonly used high pressure hydrogenation conditions.
